The JHS Show
On May 31, 2018, Josh got into his truck to film the intro for the first episode of the “JHS Vlog.” As with many things at JHS, what started as a, “Wouldn’t it be funny if...” turned into a full-blown project and became bigger than anyone would have known to hope for. Earlier in the year, Josh was a bit sick of pedals and was looking for a way to reconnect with another love of his – the history of guitar effects. With the help of creative genius Nick Loux, the JHS Vlog took off, soon changing its name to the JHS Show. Every episode of the JHS Show is an exploration into the history, impact, and lives of your favorite effects and the people who designed them. Expect to hear full band jam sessions, interviews with inventors and musicians, history lessons, and live-streamed dives into new gear, hot topics, and even breadboarding your own circuits!
The JHS Show is a collaborative effort between Josh and Nick, who’s been working with Josh since 2010. Josh is the idea man, the one whose curiosity keeps him up at night and plants the seeds that become episodes. Nick is the creative director and the one who makes this all happen while looking and sounding good. The JHS Show team is also made up of Belle, our project manager; Austin and Sean, our photographers, videographers, and editors; and Joshua, our scriptwriter and content editor.
Thanks for watching!
